Anna Silk is a Fredericton native and the child of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had numerous talents, including being able to direct, act and produce plays, as well as write them, teach, and be Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the daughter of a Briton, and the son of a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. In her early years, Anna was featured in a variety of commercials. Anna relocated to Toronto in Ontario to pursue her acting. In the decade that followed, she eventually moved to Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman, whom she met at an Los Angeles actors' workshop back in 2007, became her partner in 2009. They were married in a civil ceremony that December and renewed their vows in the form of a Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton on April 11, 2011 after Anna's conversion to Judaism. Bo's relationship with Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was noted in CNN's list of all-time Favorite TV Couples as well as named the most popular Television Couple in the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's fame on social media grew as a result of the show.
