Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. The parents of Winona Ryder gave her the name of her hometown. Michel Horowitz is her father and Cynthia Palmer is her mother. Ryder, who considers herself Jewish, is descended from Ryder's Jewish father. Ryder is the youngest sister of Uria, and has half-siblings Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder moved with her family to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. They didn't have electricity. Ryder was a voracious bookworm and would spend her days reading books because there was no television. Ryder started to take acting classes at the American Conservatory Theatre when she turned 12 years old. Lucas was released in 1986. Ryder, who was barely 15 years old, landed an acting job as a lead actor. Ryder faced bullying during her high school years. Her thought was that by becoming an actor her behaviour would be changed. Sadly that didn't happen. Still, she pursued her dream. In 1988, it was the year that Tim Burton released Beetlejuice that was her breakthrough. Ryder was able to continue her successful characters in numerous films. In 1993, Ryder was nominated two times for Academy Awards.
